Section - 5.2 Demo database initialization

 Section rev Jan 1, 2011

This feature archives the current database into a folder named "archives" (the database is renamed with a date and time stamp), then creates a fresh copy of the demo database. The demo database is populated with fictitious bug reports, comments, etc. The Demo database has been used extensively for program development and debugging and is a varified stable working envirionment. The default database allows guest logins.

Other than the live database is empty, about the only differeance is the demo databse allows the guest login to edit. In live mode this is not allowed because all visitors could edit each others bug reports!

Guest login is...  User = guest   Password = leave blank
Admin login is...  User = admin  Password = admin
